Founder & Managing Director
Credentials: MBA in Hospitality Management (Les Roches, Switzerland), PADI Divemaster, 20+ years in Indonesian luxury tourism.
Bio: Aria is the visionary behind Cruise Lombok and a director at our parent company, Juara Holding Group. After a distinguished career managing five-star resorts across Southeast Asia, Aria returned to his Indonesian roots with a mission to create a world-class marine tourism brand. His passion for diving and conservation led him to Lombok, where he saw the potential for a service that blended Swiss standards of hospitality with the authentic charm and natural beauty of the region. Aria personally oversees our strategic partnerships and ensures the Cruise Lombok vision is executed flawlessly on every charter.
Captain I Komang Sudarsana
Head of Marine Operations
Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat III (ANT III) from Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, SOLAS Certification, 15+ years as a captain in the Lombok Strait.
Bio: Captain Komang is a highly respected figure in Lombok’s maritime community. Born and raised in a coastal village near Senggigi, the sea is in his blood. He possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the currents, tides, and hidden coves around the Gili Islands, Gili Nanggu, and the south coast. As Head of Marine Operations, he is responsible for the safety, maintenance, and compliance of our entire fleet. He personally trains and certifies every captain and crew member, instilling a culture of safety-first that is second to none. His hands-on expertise is the bedrock of our operational integrity.
Dewi Lestari
Client Experience Director
Credentials: B.A. in Tourism from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Certified Butler (Magnums Butler Academy), former Guest Relations Manager at Amanjiwo.
Bio: Dewi is the architect of the signature Cruise Lombok guest experience. With a background honed at one of the world’s most exclusive luxury hotel brands, she has an intuitive understanding of the needs of discerning travelers. Dewi manages all client communications from the initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up. She and her team curate every detail of the journey, from dietary preferences and custom itineraries to arranging seamless transfers from Lombok International Airport (LOP). Her motto is ‘anticipatory service,’ ensuring every need is met before it’s even expressed.
Dr. Banyu Biru
Resident Marine Biologist & Head Guide
Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Biology from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), specializing in coral reef ecology of the Lesser Sunda Islands.
Bio: Dr. Banyu brings an incredible depth of scientific knowledge and passion to our team. He is not just a guide; he is an educator and a conservationist. On our charters, he provides fascinating insights into the marine ecosystems, from identifying the 25 species of clownfish to explaining the life cycle of the green and hawksbill turtles that frequent the Gili Islands. He designed our ‘Responsible Snorkeling & Diving’ protocols and leads our partnership with the Gili Eco Trust. Dr. Banyu’s presence transforms a beautiful day on the water into a profound learning experience, connecting our guests to the fragile beauty of Lombok’s underwater world.
Siti Aminah
Partnerships & Sustainability Manager
Credentials: Certified in Sustainable Tourism (GSTC), former liaison for ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours & Travel Agencies) NTB.
Bio: Siti is our bridge to the local community and our champion for responsible tourism. She manages our network of vetted local partners, from the Sasak guides at traditional villages to the boutique suppliers who provide our fresh, organic produce. Siti also leads our sustainability initiatives, overseeing our waste reduction programs, carbon offsetting, and community development projects. Her work ensures that Cruise Lombok operates not just in Lombok, but for Lombok, creating a positive impact that extends far beyond our charters.
